Golden Hill turquoise was first introduced to the U.S. around 2014. Mined in Kazakhstan, and only in the winter months, Golden Hill has become sought after and considered rare. It is a natural and chemically pure turquoise with colors that range from light blue to deep lavender. This is a large nugget. Lightly polished on all sides so that you can begin to understand what is inside the nugget. Fabulous color. Unusually large at 224 carats. Rare to receive from the mine and even more rare to actually post it. Could be a collectors piece or cut it up for what is likely to be a series of nice cabs.
