The Kingman Mine is located in NW Arizona and is probably the oldest and longest producing turquoise mine in the U.S. Turquoise has been mined there for well over 1000 years. Today the mine produces enough turquoise to be one of the largest suppliers to the industry. The Kingman colors can range from light to dark blue and green. The matrix is typically light brown to black and can be ticked with pyrite and quartz.
