Nevada #8 is a famous turquoise mine located in Eureka, Nevada. It was discovered in 1925 and is known for creating some of the largest nuggets in history. The turquoise can be available in large pieces and often with a spider web matrix from light brown to blood-red to black. Nevada #8 produces very interesting and beautiful cabochons with a range of colors from light to dark blue and at times with shades of green.
