This cabochon is from old stock mined before the mine was first closed in the 1970's. Turquoise Mountain is a classic American mine. While part of the Kingman Mines, it has its own unique character and color and therefore is identified separately. The color ranges from deep blue to light blue and with a greenish hue. This largre cab has been cut by hand and has a very rich Turquoise Mountain range of color.
